Cognitive Load and visuals in learning

Five short months ago, when we created this short film as part of our 12 Days of Leadership promo campaign, I was thrilled with the visual part of these short films. Now at the end of my first course in Visual Design for learning, I am looking at this much differently. What do you think bothers me about the approach we used in producing this leadership tip? How would you change this to reduce cognitive load?
