Help Wanted: Instructional Designer!

Imagine this job description in the help wanted: "Instructional Design is a complex, ill-defined skill that is largely, if not entirely, dependent on the context in which it is done." This is how the "The ID Case Book" (Ertmer and Quinn 2007) opens the discussion on ID. I will be using this book as part of the materials in the ID course I will be taking this summer. ID, it seems, is full of mystery, puzzles and challenges that beckons our good thinking, and creative skills- I'd apply in a heart beat, after I develop a few more skills... How about you? To explore one seasoned ID professional's accounting of what ID really is, visit Bruce Graham's website here and walk through an excellent overview of this all encompassing role.
